Uma Thurman searches for her kidnapped son in Apple TV’s Suspicion trailer, a new series from the executive producers of The Americans & Homeland.
Apple TV+ has released a trailer for Suspicion, an eight-episode limited series starring Uma Thurman as a high-profile CEO based in New York City. When masked criminals kidnap her son from a hotel, the FBI sets its sights on five British citizens who happen to have stayed at the hotel that night. As the four guests struggle to find alibis, Thurman’s character contends with secrets of her own.
Apple TV‘s trailer for Suspicion shows the many faces involved in the transatlantic thriller, from the nervous suspects and probing detectives to Thurman’s steely CEO. Says one interrogator, “We can’t be certain whether this is terrorist related, politically motivated, or simple extortion.” With the executive producers of The Americans and Homeland at the helm, Suspicion is sure to be equal parts sharp espionage drama and soapy thriller. Check out the official trailer below:
In addition to Thurman, Suspicion’s ensemble cast includes Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory), Noah Emmerich (The Americans), Georgina Campbell (Black Mirror), Elizabeth Henstridge (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Tom Rhys-Harries, Elyes Gabel, and Angel Coulby (Merlin). Suspicion is based on the award-winning Israeli series False Flag. Rob Williams, known for his work on The Man In High Castle, will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Suspicion is set to premiere episodes 1 & 2 on February 4, with the remaining six to release weekly on each successive Friday.
